Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? “I was convinced I was going to be a trapeze artist in the circus.”

Favorite TV show: “Psych - it’s very clever and makes me laugh out loud when I’m by myself because it’s my ideal kind of humor.”

Denae Lawrence is a composer, designer, writer, singer, and pianist. In other words, anything creative makes her excited! She is a 2015 MVNU graduate with a B.A. in Music & Worship and has been leading worship since middle school. If she’s not hanging out with her twelve siblings, she’s probably at a concert or trying to find ways to save money to see Broadway shows. Her greatest passion is to use the arts in all forms to advance God’s Kingdom, whether that’s through music, graphic and web design, or written words.
